I take exception to politically-correct websites like this. This isn't the meaning of 'discriminate' at all. Some half-educated moron wants to bang his half-baked drum with rubbish like that written here. 'Discriminate' means to observe distinctions and differences between things. The process is one of several by which Nature enables us to discern nuances and differences between things so we can understand and evolve. The reductionist negative connotation promoted here, if made into a taboo as this website seeks to do, debilitates us in the process of understanding and evolving. It seeks to promote mediocrity by levelling down so that distinctions are forbidden because some poor thing's feelings may be hurt. If you want to speak out or act against vilification of differences, that's another matter. There are too many uneducated people acting as though they know things and are doing irreparable damage to the quality of our lives. Leave the word 'discrimination' alone if you don't know what it means. That's my advice.
