Race

U.S. Population Growth by Race

Racial Discrimination
To treat differently a person or group of people based on their racial origins. Power is a necessary precondition, for it depends on the ability to give or withhold social benefits, facilities, services, opportunities , from someone who should be entitled to them, and are denied on the basis of race, color or national origin.

Through out time we have experienced a huge growth of immigration seeking out a better life. although Caucasians weren't the first people around they are considered traditional Americans. The bigger factor is that as Americans we believe that it was only in our surroundings. but realistically racism happens everywhere, defined by the color of your skin you could be qualified as a noblemen, merchant, slave and those were times where there were kings and princesses! Essentially racism was and always be part of our life unfortunately we still haven't experienced a colored president, maybe because of the same thought that people had from back in the day. very sad to say but history does repeat itself.
